Asya Morgan focuses her practice on cases that affect our most vulnerable populations. Her primary specialties include sexual assault, premises liability cases involving negligent security, and personal injury cases, including nursing home malpractice and birth trauma/ pregnancy related injuries.
Earlier in her career, Asya worked as a paralegal on pre-litigation and litigation matters including medical records and bill ordering, setting up insurance claims, discovery, filing complaints and pleadings. She was an associate at a large international law firm where she defended some of the largest corporations in the world. Those experiences taught her how corporations and insurance companies evaluate and defend high value cases. Her experience on the defense side now benefits her in the pursuit of justice for her clients on the plaintiff side.
She is a concertmaster violinist and holds a black belt in Taekwondo, and she volunteers with several women’s rights organizations and domestic violence shelters.
Asya earned a Juris Doctorate from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University, and she holds a Bachelor of Arts in sociology with a minor in pre-law from Georgia State University.
